I will dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly happening.
